These Terms govern your use of TariffWise. By using the Site, you agree to them.
1. Eligibility
You must be at least 16 years old. If you use the Site on behalf of an organization, you represent that you have authority to bind it.
2. The Site is for information only — not professional advice
Nothing on TariffWise is legal advice, tax or accounting advice, customs brokerage services, financial advice, or a guarantee of any duty rate, classification, or regulatory outcome. Tariff rates change frequently. See our full Disclaimer.
3. Tools and calculators
Calculators and HTS lookups on the Site are illustrative only. They produce estimates based on simplified inputs. Do not use them as the basis for customs filings.
4. Acceptable use
- No mass scraping without permission.
- No resale or republication of our content as your own.
- No use to harass, defame, or harm any person.
- No malware, security breaches, or interference.
- No automated means other than well-behaved search crawlers.
- No identity misrepresentation.
5. Intellectual property
All content is owned by TariffWise or our licensors. You may read, share links, quote short excerpts (up to ~100 words) with attribution, and print for personal use. You may not copy substantial portions, mirror the Site, or use our content for AI training without a written license.
6. Third-party links and ads
We link to third-party sites and serve advertising via Google AdSense and similar networks. We do not control and are not responsible for third-party content or practices.
7. Affiliate disclosure

8. User-submitted content
If you submit content to us, you grant TariffWise a non-exclusive, royalty-free, perpetual, worldwide license to use, edit, and publish it. You represent that you own it or have the right to license it.

The Site is provided "as is". To the maximum extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties.
10. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, TariffWise will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, special, or exemplary damages. Our total aggregate liability will not exceed USD 100.
11. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless TariffWise from any claim arising out of your violation of these Terms, your misuse of the Site, or your violation of any law.
12. Termination
We may suspend or terminate your access at any time for any reason.
13. Changes
Material changes announced 14 days before they take effect.
14. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of Spain. Disputes resolved exclusively in the courts of Madrid, Spain, subject to local consumer protection law.
